Personal Lines Account Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a service-oriented insurance professional to join our team as a Personal Lines Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, handling renewals, processing policy changes, and delivering high-touch support to clients. You will play a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction, policy accuracy, and long-term retention.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, in office position that supports our clients' insurance activities in our offices located in either Tallahassee, or Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Client Servicing – Manage personal lines accounts by responding to service requests, resolving inquiries, and addressing client needs.
  • Renewal Management – Review coverage limits, initiate re-quotes or remarkets, and execute timely policy renewals.
  • Policy Processing – Handle endorsements, update client records, and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
  • Coverage Reviews – Identify and recommend policy adjustments to ensure clients are appropriately insured.
  • Carrier Coordination – Submit applications and communicate with underwriters on client placements and renewals.
  • Cross-Selling – Identify and recommend additional lines of coverage aligned with client needs.
  • Sales Support – Provide administrative and customer support to Producers and Sales Agents as needed.
  • Client Relationships- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal team members to foster retention and satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Licensing – Active Florida 2-20 or 20-44 insurance license required.
  • Experience – 2+ years of experience servicing Personal Lines insurance accounts; agency or brokerage experience preferred.
  • Systems – Familiarity with AMS360 or comparable agency management systems.
  • Technology – Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel for communication and documentation.
  • Education – High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization – Strong ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
  • Teamwork – Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Bilingual – Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.

Salary Range: A starting base salary in the $50,000 - $60,000 range, depending on the candidate’s experience.

A wide salary range is posted for this position, and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
