Personal Lines Account Manager (Remote)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, providing exceptional service to clients, and ensuring their insurance needs are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal insurance, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position that can be hybrid or remote. This position supports our office located in Media, PA.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records within agency management system and electronic files.
  • Provide excellent customer service to build and maintain positive relationships with Safegard’s clients.
  • Practice outstanding verbal and written communication with clients and insurance carrier representatives that is professional, confident, clear and concise.
  • Prepare and maintain client-facing presentation documents.
  • Review all renewal and new business policies for accuracy and request corrections as needed.
  • Billing and non-payment follow-up.
  • Process policy change requests. Responsible for timely endorsement follow-up, as well as billing.
  • Issue new and renewal Automobile ID Cards as needed.
  • Efficiently utilize insurance carrier online systems.
  • Market new and renewal business as necessary including market selection, online rating, and coverage analysis.
  • Field calls regarding claims; direct clients to appropriate carrier for submitting claims and assist clients with questions regarding claims as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associate's degree
  • 3+ years' of industry experience preferred
  • Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Knowledge of AMS360 or EPIC Agency Management System preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products
  • Strategic thinker and independent worker

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Pay Range: $60,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.

*A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
