Senior Account Executive (Construction)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the insurance industry, particularly in the construction sector, and will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of large construction clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent client relationship skills, a proven track record in sales and account management, and significant experience in contract review.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time remote position that supports our office located in New York, NY.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with large construction clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of a portfolio of accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction sector.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to design and negotiate insurance programs that meet client needs.
  • Provide clients with expert advice on risk management, insurance coverage, and contract review.
  • Prepare and present proposals, renewals, and other client-facing documents.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.
  • Mentor and support junior account executives and other team members.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on construction clients.
  • Proven track record in sales and account management.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and services relevant to the construction industry.
  • Extensive experience in contract review and analysis.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or CIC are a plus.

Pay Range: $100,000 - $115,000 per year depending on experience.

*A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
