Position Overview: The Employee Benefits Account Executive role primarily revolves around providing exceptional communication support by answering incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries, taking messages, and appropriately redirecting calls when needed. Additionally, responsibilities include efficiently managing email correspondence, encompassing tasks such as enrolling and terminating employees, as well as addressing policy-related queries. Furthermore, the role involves working on the preparation and analysis of quotes and spreadsheets for both small and large group renewals, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team's operations.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position working in our office located in Sioux Falls, SD.

Professional Responsibilities:

• Respond to phone calls and emails within 24 hours.
• Ensure accurate completion of applications and submit them to carriers.
• Prepare quotes and spreadsheets for group renewals.
• Request invoices from carriers.
• Submit group renewals monthly before deadlines.
• Create employee handouts for open enrollment.
• Generate payroll reports for groups.
• Periodically pull Medicare Part D compliance data.
• Send monthly x-date reminders to agents.
• Responsible for small group and individual client administration.
• Assist clients with finding health insurance for under 65 and over 65.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Medicare/Marketplace experience
• Proficient understanding of benefit programs, products, and relevant regulations.
• South Dakota Life & Health and Property & Casualty License preferred– can potentially be obtained after hire
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products
• A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clients
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

This role is eligible for commission from individual sales.
