Position Overview: We seek an experienced Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance professional for our Commercial Lines Account Executive position open in our Huntington Beach CA office. In this position you will provide comprehensive and dedicated support, advice, and consultation to insurance clients in the middle to large marketspace. You will collaborate with assigned clients and prospects, offering support and implementing P&C insurance solutions tailored to the clients’ needs and ensuring client retention.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, hybrid position reporting to our office located in Huntington Beach, CA.

Professional Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support and strategic consultation across property and casualty insurance and risk management
• Maintain regular client communication, ensuring needs are met and recommending tailored solutions
• Manage client accounts, including policy reviews, claims, and other risk-related matters.
• Safeguard confidential client and agency information
• Collaborate with Producers and Account Managers to secure insurance placements and solve client issues
• Coordinate meetings, renewals, and service touchpoints for clients
• Assist with underwriting, carrier negotiations, and insurance quote placements
• Prepare and present renewal proposals with actionable recommendations
• Stay updated on industry trends, attend client and carrier meetings, and facilitate resource deployment (e.g., Zywave, ESM Insite)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance, focusing on account management, risk management, and/or production/sales
• California Property and Casualty Insurance License, with a commitment to maintaining it.
• Experience working with large, top-tier clientele
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and primary property/casualty insurance
• Skilled in building and maintaining client relationships, understanding their unique needs, and providing customized solutions
• Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant client management tools
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with strong organizational and project management abilities
• Critical thinking skills to analyze complex scenarios, stay updated on industry trends, and adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality
• Bachelor of Science in a business-related field
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship at all times

Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000 depending on experience.

A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing similar work.
