Commercial Lines Marketing Representative (Hybrid)

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Commercial Lines Marketing Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in the quoting and proposal process, assisting clients and Producers with timely, accurate, and knowledgeable support. You’ll act as a key liaison between carriers, clients, and our team, ensuring smooth communication and a seamless experience. Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, hybrid position reporting our office in Waterloo, IA.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Enter and manage insurance policy and client data in EPIC accurately.
  • Coordinate with carriers on quote statuses, ensuring timely responses and gathering required documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between Producers, clients, and carriers, keeping all parties informed of progress and updates.
  • Assist Producers in preparing compelling insurance proposals, based on workload and renewal schedules.
  • Schedule client meetings and provide Producers with necessary information; attend virtual meetings as needed.
  • Send insurance verification to third parties as requested by clients or regulatory authorities.
  • Conduct market research to identify new carrier options and stay updated on industry trends; initiate re-marketing for existing clients if needed.
  • Organize meetings between Producers and carriers and manage agency-billed policies efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant records of all interactions, quotes, and proposals, ensuring client confidentiality.
  • Deliver excellent, timely customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to maintain strong relationships with clients and Producers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 1+ years in sales support, account management, customer support, or marketing.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Iowa Property and Casualty Insurance License.
  • Prior experience in an insurance agency; Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and industry regulations to support quoting and proposals.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with attention to detail for accurate data entry and document review.
  • Empathetic and proactive client service approach, focused on enhancing the client experience.
  • Clear written and verbal communication to ensure transparent, effective interactions.
  • Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills and a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and a commitment to staying current on industry trends through training and certifications.
  • High ethical standards, with a dedication to confidentiality for handling sensitive client and employee information.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
