Commercial Lines Account Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing exceptional service by handling renewals, policy changes, and client inquiries. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, and the ability to build long-lasting client relationships. Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position working in our office located in Flower Mound, TX.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationships- assist clients with all policy and coverage questions on a day-to-day basis
  • Maintain client electronic files in an orderly and up-to-date manner according to Agency standards
  • Assist in marketing new and renewal business, negotiate rates, review coverages for competitiveness and accuracy, present to clients
  • Prepare documents for renewal terms, including Insurance Proposals, Applications, Acord forms, Binders, and Certificates of Insurance
  • Comprehend and interpret Insurance Contract requirements for Certificates
  • Invoicing all new and renewal policies and endorsements and manage workflow
  • Processing customer policy endorsements
  • Processing underwriting requests for additional information from the carriers as received

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • As an Account Manager, you must be customer oriented, motivated, energetic, outgoing, strong verbal skills and a self-starter.
  • Great people skills, positive attitude, dependable and capable of multi-tasking in a busy office environment.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Willingness to go beyond scheduled hours to meet client needs
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License
  • 2+ years of Customer Service & Commercial Lines insurance experience required
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, OneDrive
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
