Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (Hybrid)

Position Overview: We are seeking an outgoing and experienced Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join our growing Commercial Lines Team! This individual will be a team player, who is compassionate with clients and has 3-4 years of progressive Commercial Lines and professional liability experience working within an independent insurance agency.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time hybrid position reporting to our office located in Williamsville, NY. Computer equipment will be provided by the company upon hire.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Account Managers to understand client requirements and objectives.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, contracts, and presentations for clients.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address any issues or concerns.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure client deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services to clients.
  • Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or equivalent experience at an Independent Agency.
  • 3-4 years of experience in customer service, account management, or sales.
  • Professional liability experience preferred.
  • Active (state) Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products
  • A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clients
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience.

A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
