Client Care Specialist (Hybrid)

Position Overview: The Client Care Specialist is responsible for providing an assigned group of clients and their employees with exceptional client services through daily problem resolution, claim/billing investigations, and timely response to questions, proactive communication, informational updates, and quality assurance.

The Client Care Specialist also provides Account Managers with assistance as required in helping to complete the client renewal process and works closely with Consultants and Account Managers to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction to support the retention of clients in the assigned book of business.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, hybrid position reporting to our office located in Philadelphia, PA. Computer equipment will be provided by the company upon hire.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Research and resolve client inquiries related to claims, billing, administration, and benefits.
  • Interact with clients, teammates, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators to resolve issues.
  • Provide exceptional client service by adhering to follow-up standards and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts through phone, email, and in-person communication.
  • Perform client billing reconciliation and census audits.
  • Create and deliver employee-facing educational materials on HSAs, HRAs, and FSAs.
  • Lead open enrollment meetings and webinars explaining how HSAs, HRAs, and FSAs work.
  • Submit claims for reimbursement to HSA, HRA, and FSA vendors; track and resolve claims.
  • Research and resolve complex claims issues, including denials and coordination between providers and vendors.
  • Document all client interactions and transactions in the CRM system.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2 years or more of client service experience in a high-volume environment
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Health Policy, Risk Management/Insurance or related field OR equivalent years of experience
  • Active Pennsylvania Life & Health insurance license
  • Ability to work variable hours including occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines during peak season
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products
  • A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clients
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
