Personal Lines Account Manager (Hybrid)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, providing exceptional service to clients, and ensuring their insurance needs are met. Your primary duties will include handling policy renewals, processing policy changes, and addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal insurance, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, hybrid position reporting to our office located at Glen Rock, NJ. Computer equipment will be provided by the company upon hire.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients, producers, and company personnel
  • Review existing accounts for discounts and coverage recommendations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
  • Document and update customer records based on recent interactions
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of evolving products and services
  • Re-evaluate coverage limits to ensure customer is properly insured
  • Requote/Remarket clients for all personal lines insurance products as needed and/or requested by the client
  • Support sales team and new producers as needed
  • Support all team projects and priorities as determined by management

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Personal Lines Property and Casualty Insurance
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly, experience with EPIC a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, including daily prioritizing and logical thinking
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully while expediting issues
  • Ability to work in deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products
  • A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clients
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
