Associate Account Manager (Hybrid)

Position Overview: Are you passionate about client relationships and committed to delivering exceptional service? We are seeking a motivated Associate Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Associate Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing a portfolio of client accounts by responding to service requests, processing routine changes, and addressing client questions in a timely, professional manner.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and internal teams to understand client objectives and deliver effective, compliant benefits solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, renewal calendars, and internal tracking documents in agency management systems.
  • Assist in preparing benefit summaries, renewal presentations, marketing materials, and carrier comparisons for client meetings.
  • Support the coordination of open enrollment activities, including gathering employee census data, tracking deadlines, and ensuring all materials are delivered.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers and vendors to obtain quotes, resolve issues, and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Assist in resolving billing issues, claim disputes, and service escalations by researching solutions and coordinating responses with carriers and clients.
  • Identify potential cross-sell and upsell opportunities and bring them to the attention of the Account Manager.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, carrier updates, and client needs; participate in training opportunities and team meetings.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (internships or prior client service work preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with AgencyWare or benefits platforms a plus.
  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clients.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Pay Range: $50,000-$55,000 annually, depending on experience.

A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
