Operational Transformation Project Manager (Remote)

Position Overview: Our company seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic operational transformation initiatives focused on improving organizational efficiency, streamlining processes, and driving system consolidations. This role requires a strong background in managing complex operational projects, including system conversions, process redesign, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating change, aligning stakeholders, and delivering measurable outcomes that support enterprise-wide transformation.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress using tools such as JIRA, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain momentum.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate project retrospectives to capture lessons learned and apply continuous improvement practices.
  • Establish and refine best practices for operational transformation and system integration.
  • In collaboration with business analysts, analyze current workflows to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of transformation goals.
  • Support knowledge sharing and cross-training within the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a Business-related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience leading operational transformation or system consolidation projects
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives with limited subject matter expertise by leveraging stakeholder input and structured project methodologies.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA; familiarity with enterprise systems and data platforms is a plus.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to hold team members accountable and drive results across direct and indirect reporting lines.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (minimal travel anticipated)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

*A wide salary range is posted for this position, and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
