Commercial Lines Account Manager (Hybrid)

Position Overview: We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts with a focus on habitational property, general liability, professional liability, and workers’ compensation risks. This role is responsible for supporting renewals, managing policy changes, and ensuring accurate and timely placement of coverage across assigned accounts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and confident working directly with clients, carriers, and brokers in a fast-paced agency environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and supporting overall account retention and growth.

Work location and arrangement: This is a full-time hybrid position, working 3 days per week in our Lawrenceville, GA office.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate client and policy records within the agency management system and ensure documentation integrity
  • Manage renewal activity, including marketing, carrier submissions, and coverage placement
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, billing inquiries, premium financing, and non-payment follow-up
  • Bind coverage accurately and ensure all policy information is complete and up to date
  • Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and brokers to support service needs and resolve issues
  • Provide ongoing client support and respond to coverage questions in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify opportunities for account rounding and new business within assigned book of business
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all outstanding service items to maintain workflow efficiency and client satisfaction

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance account management or sales support within an agency, broker, or carrier environment
  • Active Georgia Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, policy structures, and placement processes
  • Demonstrated experience with policy binding and renewal execution
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and insurance software platforms
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all policy and client documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a strong client service mindset
